|Recommended: YesA heaven sent move — I will preface my review with a context of my most recent rental history. I have moved 3 times in the last 2 years due to unforeseeable circumstances and safety issues with each property. I have lived here at Highland Haus HH for a little over 3 months and I absolutely love it After signing a 22 month lease at my last WPM property, I had several life changes and needed to move immediately. WPM allowed me to transfer to a new property and after several agonizing searches, I found Highland Haus just in time There was a move-in special for an unbelievable price AND free parking in the garage attached to the building. The leasing agent Stephanie did a virtual tour and I knew I found my new home. HH has everything I need, attached parking garage, washing dryer in unit, a gym, secure entry, secure package room, and perks I never knew I would need sky lounge and dog walk. The sky lounge is by far my favorite amenity. I sit outside and do yoga, have a peaceful meal over an amazing view. All the staff are friendly and professional from the leasing office, to maintenance and groundskeeper. The neighbors are courteous, clean and all follow CDC guidelines. Everyone wears masks and respects the elevator policy. All of which was not occurring at my last property. There are several different layouts and I absolutely love mine, the Harbor. The rent is a bit pricey but for the area, what you are getting in amenities, space, and peace of mind it is worth it. It is truly a luxurious gem. I received a special gift upon moving in which was a sweet touch. There is a wine liquor store attached to the building. The neighborhood is great. There is literally everything you need in walking distance or a short drive to the Shops Canton Crossing. There only a few minor critiques that I have and are easy fixes. The walls don't have a glossy finish that I am used to, which means they are easily scuffed and scratched. I have used magic erasers and they still leave a residue. I don't like the black kitchen back-splash. I also am not a fan of the key fob entrance for my home. I would much prefer a bolt lock. Overall, moving to HH has given a peace of mind that money cannot buy. The first day I drove to my new home passing Patterson Park and all of the string lights around the neighborhood, I felt a sense of peace and joy. I feel that every time I come home now...which makes everything I have experienced previously worth it.

There's some odd features about the design of my apartment's layout Lexington , but overall it functions well and makes the most of the limited square footage. Living in a corner unit right on Eastern Ave, there's a bit of road noise, but that's to be expected. I almost never hear my neighbors, which is a huge positive. The closet space is great for such a small apartment, and I love having the stacked washer dryer. It's awesome having a little gym in the building perfect for my purposes , in addition to the 5th floor common space and optional secure garage parking. I also love the close proximity to Patterson Park, the Creative Alliance, and Canton Crossing. While all buildings have their small issues, this is a wonderful place to live with great helpful staff.

Thanks so much for the review! We appreciate you taking the time to rate our community and hope you continue to love it here! We will be sure to take care of the light switches!
|Recommended: YesThis Place is Dope — HH is clean and safe. The staff is lovely and genuine. They address everything in a very timely and caring fashion. I've lived in the area for the 30 years of my life here for two months, Canton for about 3years and I am really happy to be here. It is right at that sweet spot of affordable and accommodating for city life. It can be a little noisy outside with the windows open, but when closed, the apartment's soundproofing is legit. You could always just go down and join the ruckus at Snake Hill. All in all, I'm glad I waited for a spot to open in the Highland Haus.
That's great, Vincent! Thank you for the awesome review and nice things you had to say about our community. Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you!

|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — The area is nice, especially being near Patterson Park and it's nice not to have to worry about where to park with their garage for residents although there's only one spot allocated per unit. I also enjoy the rooftop area to relax as it offers a great view of the city They also are very pet friendly but along with that comes noise so there are pros and cons to living where pets are allowed. The only downsides are the gym area is pretty small and at times the people in the building can get a bit noisy but with that being said, it is apartment living so it's to be expected. It is great the apartment complex is new too because everything is very clean here. Overall, it is a great place to live, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and I have enjoyed being here so far

She is very responsive to emails and phone calls and effectively manages emergency and non-emergency related concerns in a timely manner. Demonstrating a genuine concern and commitment to improving residents' overall experience is evident not only when she follows-up with concerns in a timely manner but also when she shares building improvements with the property's ownership. The leadership she brings to Highland Haus while focusing on the operational requirements of the building and paying close attention to detail provides a value-added level of service residents have not seen previously.
